Holcim, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of construction materials, is partnering with GreenWay to lead one of the largest eHDV electrification projects in the region. The investment includes the development of dedicated charging infrastructure for heavy electric machinery operating in demanding industrial environments – such as mines, grinding plants, cement factories, and industrial ports. The construction and mining sectors are considered difficult to reduce emissions in, and this investment is one of the first efforts to electrify this space.
